Social Studies
Social Studies is learning about who children are and how they fit in at school, home, and in the community. Children begin to see differences (i.e. hair and skin color, interests, abilities, and families) of who they are in comparison to others and where they live. They also begin to see their everyday activities with social interaction and learn about their communities. They learn about history using the past, present, and future and learn about respecting diversity.
