Science and Technology is the process of observing and using senses for children to explore their world. Engaging in becoming a scientist promotes critical thinking. Children begin to understand why things happen in their natural and physical world. They use their observational skills, experiment, make predictions, and draw conclusions about their discoveries. They also use Technology as a tool to investigate and test out their ideas.
Materials: Construction Paper, Different Size Containers and Lids, Individual Baskets, Pine-Cones, Colored Leaves, Sea Shells, Rocks, Tempura paints for mixing colors, Food coloring, Different colored Play dough, Droppers, White craft bags, Markers, Glue, Tissue paper, Animal and Bug glass blocks, Magnifying Glasses, Science Books, (Mouse Paint), Plastic Animals, Computers, Cell Phones, and I-pads.
