Creative Arts
Creative Arts allows children to express themselves through Art and Music. Children are able to exhibit curiosity and creativity by exploring art materials, pretending/dramatic play, and engaging with different types of music and sounds. This area of development is important because it gives children the freedom to use all of their senses and create experiences with different types of materials. These experiences give children the opportunity to create using process art vs. product art, which gives them more confidence and independence because they created it themselves.
