Language/Literacy/Communication
Language, Literacy, and Communication indicates how young children communicate (verbally or non-verbally) using gestures, sounds, and/or words to establish connections with adults and their peers. It also includes how children explore printed materials, read, and comprehend meaning of language (books, nursery rhymes, and words).
